Flying Colors recently purchased new state of the art Tajima embroidery machines. Flying Colors embroidery capabilities extend to jackets, hats, polo’s, bags, and much more. We have the ability to embroider in several locations on your product; from basic left chest, full backs, sleeves, and to the side of a bag.

Flying Colors stocks over 250 different colors of threads and multiple brands. The majority of the thread we stock is rayon and polyneon Madiera. We also stock Robinson Anton for colors Madiera may not have. Both manufactures offer PMS matching; this allows us to accurately match your logo color preference.

Appliqué
Appliqué is most commonly seen in the athletic apparel industry but has slowly made its way into the corporate apparel. It offers embroidery a different look. When using appliqué you are able to save on stitch count as well, by replacing a fill stitch with a piece of twill or felt you are able to decrease the number of stitches.

Appliqué is great for bags, jackets, sweatshirts, and much more. Appliqué material is available in twill or felt and in a variety of colors.

3-D Embroidery
3-D embroidery is a style of embroidery which uses foam as an underlay to achieve a raised look. The foam is available in a variety of colors and thickness depending on the design. This type of embroidery is good for hats, jackets, and bags.

Specialty Threads
We offer an assortment of specialty threads. Such as metallic, multi-color, fire retardant, frosted matt, burmilana, and glow in the dark. These types of threads are good for enhancing a design.

Poly-neon
This type if thread is designed to withstand high temperatures while being laundered. Poly-neon thread is resistant to chlorine bleach; therefore, very good for commercial uniform programs.
